 Coed Coch Nelma

one of the last original Coed Coch mares and still very much with us and going strong and  enjoying retirement, picture above taken on 3rd September 2003 , being 26 years old!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sadly Autumn 2004 saw the lovely old mare Coed Coch Tami join her fiends listed here in the great field too along with the unexpected death of our lovely young mare Churtoncroft Rhianwen.

15th July 2003 saw Coed Coch Anrheg join her friends below where the grass is always green and the skys are always Blue.

Sadly 2002 saw the superb old mares Coed Coch Ann, Coed Coch Heddwen and Coed Coch Ruby go to the lovely welsh hills in the sky where "the air of heaven blows between their ears"

 

 

 

                          

      

Churtoncroft Rosamund

Grey mare foaled Chestnut Roan in 1989, this beautiful big scopey mares female line traces directly to Taran “fs1” daughter to  Glascoed Tryfan through her dam Gredington Rosemary and she has the quality of her sire Coed Coch Trydar. She is Triple Coed Coch Salsbri lines and has also been a 1st prize winner at County level in good company.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Churtoncroft Hetty

Bay mare foaled in 1989, by the same sire as Churtoncroft Aries and out of the double Coed Coch Madog mare Coed Coch Heddwen, huge ground covering action and county prize winner, she is big and scopey with plenty of quality bone and has left some lovely foals as Ch.Henderw (pictured as a foal and listed further below) and the full sister Churtoncroft Hyfryd who is to return to the stud soon to take over from her dam.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Churtoncroft Seren Ebrill

Red Roan mare foaled in 1993, By the Supreme Champion Stallion Coed Coch Reg and out of the stunning mare Coed Coch Serena. Ebrill has been a Supreme Champion at County level as a Yearling and as a mare. She carries the same female line as Coed Coch Ann, Coed Coch Linda, Churtoncroft Aries and Churtoncroft Aquarius etc. Her son by Coed Coch Atebiad has been retained as a future stallion and her first foal Churtoncroft Seren Padric (by Churtoncroft Aries) was highest placed Gelding at the Royal Welsh Show in 2000. Ebrill has been a fabulous producer of superb stock, a superb filly by Churtoncroft Aquarius whom we ahve retained named Churtoncroft Seren Claer, shown further below , Churtoncroft Seren Del and also her full brother Churtoncroft Seren Enfys both of whom can be seen on the Archive page.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Churtoncroft Hufen

Silver Dapple mare foaled Palomino in 1993. This very pretty mare traces directly to the legendary mare Tan y Bwlch Prancio through Coed Coch Pathew to Coed Coch Pioden. These P lines now becoming increasingly rare. Unshown to date but and outstanding mover which she passes on to her offspring (Churtoncroft Hywel by Churtoncroft Aries owned by the Runshaw Stud and who was leased for the 2003 season the the Jones Family, Nerwyn Stud and has left some fabulous foals for both studs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Churtoncroft Lowri

Grey mare foaled Liver Chestnut in 1994. Out of Coed Coch Linda , (the full sister to Coed Coch Ann) and sired by the champion stallion Coed Coch Reg. Both Lowri’s  g.dams being g.daughters of Coed Coch Proffywd. She has exceptional action and quality , she has been shown once where she stood second to Champion Churtoncroft Rollo (Coed Coch Reg x Gredington Rosemary) Her first foal Churtoncroft Llwynog (By Aries) is being retained and his details can be seen on the stallion page along with her fabulous 2003 filly foal Churtoncroft Llinos  by Churtoncroft Aquarius at the bottom of this page. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Churtoncroft Trysor

Grey  mare foaled Bay in 1994. By the lovely stallion Coed Coch Reg and out of the Supreme Champion mare Coed Coch Tami, this mare has quality and action along with type combined, and has left these superb qualities in her filly foal Churtoncroft Telyn (by Coed Coch Atebiad) who is  retained by the stud as a future broodmare.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Churtoncroft Pryddest

Golden Dun mare foaled in 1994. Supreme Champion at County level as a yearling and although lightly show she has also been Champion as a mare. Again by Coed Coch Reg and out of the lovely mare Coed Coch Anrheg. Has bred 2 foals to date, both Beautiful Palominos and both by Supreme Champion Churtoncroft Aries, and both retained.

Churtoncroft Henderw

Black mare foaled 1997, sired by Coed Coch Llesol and out of the champion mare Churtoncroft Hetty. To be covered 2006 season by Churtoncroft Tecwyn for the Coed Coch Salsbri lines.

Unshown to date but a young mare of superb quality and substance and quite a rare colour for the Coed Coch lines.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Churtoncroft Serena

Palomino/cream mare foaled 1998 . The last foal of the stunning mare Coed Coch Serena and the image of her and sired by Churtoncroft Aries! Line bred to Coed Coch Bari and Coed Coch Sirwnai ( Aries by a Coed Coch Bari stallion x Coed Coch Siwrnai mare) This beautiful young mare was 3rd at County level only time shown, unshown since but hopefully back out in the ring soon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Churtoncroft Prydferth

Palomino filly foaled 2001, by Churtoncroft Aries and out of the our favourite mare Churtoncroft Pryddest (Coed Coch Reg x Coed Coch Anrheg) . "Honey" is a beautiful young filly who is the full sister to the up and coming colt Churtoncroft Pryd and who have both taken their sires superb action and front. Churtoncroft Rosalynne

Bay Roan mare foaled 1998 by Coed Coch Atebiad and out of the superb mare Churtoncroft Rosamund. First filly out of a triple Salsbri dam, she has size, bone and substance aswell as a gorgeous temperament. Churtoncroft Olwyn

Red bay mare foaled 1996, by Coed Coch Llesol and out of the extremely pretty mare Churtoncroft Onnen (Coed Coch Llafar x Coed Coch Odl) . Churtoncroft Telyn

Grey filly foaled in 2000, by Coed Coch Atebiad and out of the extremely pretty mare Churtoncroft Trysor (Coed Coch Reg x Coed Coch Tami) . Churtoncroft Seren Claer

Grey filly born liver chestnut foaled 2002, by Churtoncroft Aquarius and out of the beautiful mare Churtoncroft Seren Ebrill (Coed Coch Reg x Coed Coch Serena) . Claer is turning into a lovely big filly with plenty of attitude and quality with a real look of Coed Coch Ann which shows that by line breeding to Coed Coch Siwrnai we may just breed another Coed Coch Ann!!!
